The Carle Place Wheatley Gymnastics team has shown unwavering dedication and determination throughout the entire season, putting in countless hours of hard work to perfect every skill and aspect of their performance. Their commitment has paid off, as senior Abbey Thaler from Wheatley earned a spot in Newsday’s Top 10 in Gymnastics with outstanding performances on both beam and bars. Beyond competition, the team demonstrated strong unity and school spirit by hosting an inspiring alumni meet, bringing together past and present gymnasts to support the Carle Place gymnastics program. They also proudly competed in Cartwheel for a Cure alongside teams from across Long Island, using their talent to support an important cause. Each gymnast has shown perseverance, resilience, and teamwork throughout the season, contributing to the team’s continued success. Best of luck to the team as they finish the season strong at their final meet in February.
