Part of the Engineering curriculum is using Computer Aided Design Software, also know as CAD. In this class we will be using a software by Autodesk called Fusion 360. This software is free to students and works on the following platforms:
Windows
Mac iOS
Chrome (Via Web Browser)
In order to use this software, you will need to create an Autodesk Education Account using your CPS Email.
You shoul have an invitation in your email from autodesk to creat an account. Search "Autodesk" then follow the link to create your account.
When you enter your school pick "Lindblom Math and Science Acad High School"
If you have a windows or mac you can install it for free.
If you have a chrome book you will access the software through the website.

Once you have created an Autodesk account, it is time to begin our investigation of CAD software.

Review the PDF below so that you understand the names of the windows and tool menues.
Follow along with the videos below to learn about and set up your fusion work space.
When you Create your team you will name it the same as your Main folder
FEX_SY2324_Last Name_First Name (Where X is the period of your class)
Now set up your account by sharing your first project that will have the same name:
Next you will change your unit settings from mm to Inch
Change default orientation to Y-Up
