The best kept "secret" in the district allows hundreds of students to earn workforce-ready credentials and college credits at the same time. Turn your interest into a career- or maybe just add a credential or skills to your resume!
Many of these programs include work-based learning and internship opportunities too- some paid.
For some CCS graduates, getting a job or even starting a career after high school is the right path for them. Maybe you'll choose to go back to college or earn a credential later. Maybe you will carve out your own career by persisting, connecting and learning as you go.
The choice is yours.

Also check for lifeguard training at your local YMCA, suburban community centers and private aquatic centers.
Students can go to the Ft. Hayes Health Clinic for physicals.
Walk-ins welcome.
Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 May, Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 4:30 June, August and September will have extended hours to match Central Enrollment.
Nationwide will bill insurance.
If the student does not have insurance, they will help them sign up for insurance.

Students can create accounts on the OhioMeansJobs site where they can search for jobs & internships, practice interviewing skills and research in-demand jobs in Ohio- and across the nation.

All CCS students (6-12) have access to SchooLinks, where they can explore careers, search & apply for colleges and get lots of information about their post-secondary plans.
Exploring is a unique career exploration program for young men and women ages 14- 20.
The program provides students with an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of career fields and network with professionals already working in those fields.
