The video to the right still offers great advice ALTHOUGH the FAFSA is now shorter and even easier to complete! The FAFSA opened in December for the 23-24 school year but will open October 1 again for the 24-25 schooly ear.

Every college must post its Cost of Attendance (Direct Costs (tuition, room, board...) + Indirect Costs (books, transportation...). In addition, each college must post on their website, a Net Price Calculator that families can use to estimate what they would pay directly to that college per year after factoring in the family's financial background & the student's profile.
