These tests assess the math and reading/writing levels of college applicants. Students interested in the College Credit Plus program must take these placement tests for Columbus State CC and earn certain scores to qualify for college level coursework. What Does Test-Optional Mean?

National Center for Fair & Open Testing (Some highly selective colleges are reinstating the testing requirement for the fall of 2025 - Including several Ohio universities!

BREAKING! Ohio State will return to requiring the SAT or ACT for the 25-26 application year after several years of being Test Optional. Make sure you send your scores early through your College Board (SAT) or ACT account
