Your high school and/or club team coaches should be able to guide you! They will know if your performance is on track for collegiate athletics or not.
Make sure to let your school's Athletic Director and you School Counselor know about your plans too. They will make sure you remain eligible!

Discuss your intentions to play college athletics with your counselor during your freshman and sophomore year to ensure that you are eligible for recruitment.
Register for the ACT and/or SAT and select the NCAA Eligibility Center code (9999) as a score recipient.
During the spring, register with the NCAA Eligibility Center
Click on: Prospective Student-Athletes.
In the left column, click on: Registration for U.S. Students (Enter your HS CEEB #).
You will need a Social Security # and credit card for the application fee. Ask your school counselor about getting a fee waiver!
Meet with your school counselor who will send a copy of your official high school transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Request high school transcript for the NCAA Eligibility Center if you didn't at the end of junior year.
Request final high school transcript for the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Regardless of whether you qualify for recruitment or scholarships, there are plenty of opportunities to participate in athletics in college. You can try to "walk on" a team, play club sports and/or take fitness classes. College is a great time to try new activities!
