Why did I specifically choose to do an Origami Rose?
-I myself plant roses around my house since it is something new and fun to do. Even though they are the most common plant to remember they are still unique and offer a new type of challenge to learn with the use of paper to mimic the unique shape of the rose. In conclusion, I challenged myself to learn four different types of origami roses, three easy ones, and one created 'TOSHIKAZU KAWASAKI' himself. All of my roses will come from youtube since they offer a visual demonstration of how to make the origami rose.
I decided to go with something extremely easy but still offers to bring the unique shape of the rose. All you need is a 6 x 6 in piece of paper in order to make this specific type of origami. In summary of the folds it was pretty easy and self explanatory since it contains several close folds in order to make the the shape of the rose. Something that interested me in the folds was that at the very end I had to twist the middle part of the shape in order to give that specific rose shape. Overall this was pretty simple and anyone can just watch the video and make a simple looking rose origami.

I started to increase the difficulty of the origami and decided on making another unique type of rose which also includes its stem. All you need in order to make this is a simple piece of printer paper, a ruler, and some scissors. This was similar to the first rose since you need a square piece of paper in which the ruler and scissors come into play. With similar folds as the first one, this makes this design rather easy. Something interesting in this design is the addition of making a hole and blowing on it to give the paper form. Overall this fold was pretty simple and somewhat straightfoward.

Rose 3(Valrie Vann style): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXwjLkNXJsQ
This is where making origami roses step up a bit. The materials needed is 6 4 x 4 inch paper. Get three on one color and another three on another color. At first the beginning is simple with simple folds for each paper, basically you have to do similar folds for each of them. The part where it becomes more difficult is connecting each paper. I personally struggled with this step since I messed up some folds so some paper didn't want to connect together. Even though it was somewhat difficult it was also pretty unique since this origami doesn't really on just one piece of paper. Another unique step was somewaht unfolding some pieces in order to give this figure more shape. Overall with the after result this was fun and it turned out pretty good.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Difficulty: 5/10(connecting papers was difficult)
Rose 4(TOSHIKAZU KAWASAKI style below is supposed to show it was supposed to turn out):
First things first this was not easy at all. The amount of folds in this original style is unimaginable. There are so many folds in places you couldn't even think of folding. It is important to make each folds correct in order to make the combining process easy. You simply need a square piece of paper in order for this very stylish style of origami. At first the folds were quite simple but then I was instructed to make more specific precise folds. Then the combining process was the most difficult, you had to make creases where it helps benefit the shape of the origami. A very unique process was the part where you had to connect each small fold to give the origami shape. I enjoyed the difficulty but it didn't really turn out the way it was supposed to be.
