I used the Knex to create the skeleton of the Bulldozer.

I then added the Littlebits to make it transportable on its own.

The Bulldozer uses two batteries, three power connectors, two plate connectors, four wheels and motors, a fan attachment, and two power source connectors from the LittleBits adaptors.
Knex was founded by Joel Glickman. It was first introduced in America in 1992. K'Nex is designed and produced by K'Nex Industries Inc. of Hatfield, Pennsylvania. K'Nex was purchased by Florida-based company Basic Fun! in 2018. The toy's building system consists of interlocking plastic rods, connectors, blocks, gears, wheels, and other components, which can be pieced together to form a wide variety of models, machines, and architectural structures. K'Nex is designed for elementary to early middle school aged children.
LittleBits were created by the company Sphero. LittleBits are easy-to-use electronic building blocks that snap together with magnets to make learning about circuitry and electronics exciting and engaging. You can create almost ANYTHING. It is an awesome way to get students introduced into the world of S.T.E.M.

I did have a background in 'Knex' because my mom used to buy them for me and my brother to keep us busy. I have always loved to build things and be creative. I, however, had no previous experience with the 'LittleBits' and that was intimidating. I was really excited to work with these two products to see what I could create.

I had a lot of fun! It was a really cool experience to have with the Knex and LittleBits. It was really interesting having to figure out how the LittleBits interconnected and worked. I was able to get 4 wheels and a fan to work and move, along with being connected to the bulldozer skeleton that I had created.
MY NEXT EXPLORATION :
The 3D Pen
The 3D pen is something I find really fascinating. I had previously worked with a 3D printer and I found that really cool. To do it by hand would be like making your drawings come to life.
