According to the initial creators, the purpose of the flashlight is to "Illuminate your way with household materials and this simple circuit". In other words, it's intention is to teach people how to be innovative with things that are around them!
When I saw the flashlight, I initially thought that it would be difficult to make. Turns out, it was the complete opposite. This littleBits-designed object was very simple and fun to design. What interests me the most about is the light that illuminates from such a small gadget (the LED littleBit). I also find the small amount of pieces to make this light intriguing.

Review
After creating it, I can officially say that it was very easy and fun to make. The easiest part about it connecting the littleBits because they are magnets. You will know if you are not connecting them correctly, due to the fact that they will repel each other. Since I didn't have a roll, the hardest part about the project was aligning the construction paper I used with the cup and getting it to fit perfectly. The roll and a clear cup is highly recommended for an easier process and more illumination. To make this flashlight, no prior knowledge is needed! The only assistance you may need is a video reference such as the one above, to see which bits connect to each other. I would not recommend using this item for anything other than providing light.
What Next?
After creating the littleBits Flashlight, I am going to see what else I can bring light to!
