Drawing out the Eiffel Tower !
The 3d pen was made to allow one to combine the creativity of drawings and creating artwork by hand with the new technology of 3d printing. It makes using and learning about 3d technology to be more fun and much more accessible. When I first looked at the pen I thought that it looked very simple and quite self explanatory, I believed the idea of the pen to be very interesting and a prospect to make something super intricate by hand as well as 3d. I decided that like some of the videos and pictures of inspiration I had seen that I would make something architectural, or in image of a building. So the Eiffel tower it was.
Review- The pen was at first in appearance looking very simple, the instructions however and the manual handling of the pen told a different story. The pen was in the beginning very hard to get the hold of. Layering, keeping a steady like and making good line work, and then replicating all of that 3 or 3 times and making pieces all fit together as well as possible was tough. However with the more use had the easier it was and as repetition became easier in the simple parts I was able to be more creative, freehand and design more openly as I went. In regards to prior knowledge pr training though it could be nice to have I dont find that it would be of all too much help, as with this item the only way to really learn and get things down is by in person work and patience. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to begin looking at 3d tech and trying to be more creative in a more modern way, that is also very useful if utilized correctly.
Resources - along with the videos below, Pinterest was a great tool to look at work and ideas and was used often while being very very helpful.

And up next if I was to use the pen again I think I would look at ways to design household items, things we use everyday maybe even multiple times a day and see if designing them myself could change my waste production or my need to repurchase things.
