What is Crochet?
Crochet is a process in which yarn or wool like material is used to create all sorts of things such as blankets, scarves, sweaters or even things as small as coasters.
The purpose of crocheting is to allow a person to open up their creativity and express themselves. The different materials that are involved in crochet are the yarn that is used. It can be thick like wool or thin like string.
My initial thoughts on crocheting were how hard it was to start it off. Learning the proper knot to start it off was the most difficult part. The most interesting part was the possibilites and the amount of things you can create with simple craft items such as the yarn or string. The first thing I wanted to make was something small like a coaster.
Review: The beginning process was a little hard. Getting into the rhythm and learning the best way to quicken your pace. The only prior knowledge someone will need is the simple skill of tying a knot. The only assisstance that someone who is just starting may need is probably tutorials such as a youtube video.
