RFIs (Request for Information) are used to gather information to confirm the interpretation of a detail, specification or note on the construction drawings or to secure a documented directive or clarification from the architect or client that is needed to continue work.
RFI’s are controlled by workflow in Kahua and therefore Statuses and appropriate dates auto-fill as the RFI moves through workflow.
RFI’s fields can be pre-populated with repeatable information, such as the Official Responder (Architect/Owner), Responders, cc/Notification, Response Distribution and Due Date (based on current date + number of days).
Configuration of the defaults can be done by any Project Admin team member. Please contact Clark IT Kahua support for assistance.
Tip: For projects required to use the Owner or Architect's system we have a suggested workaround procedures below. Please examine and discuss with the project team and the Kahua IT Team.
