The ASDAN programme provides learners with meaningful, personalised learning opportunities that develop confidence, independence and essential life skills. ASDAN is a nationally recognised education charity and awarding organisation, that delivers flexible, skills-based courses designed to support learners with additional support needs. Through practical, experimental learning, students develop six core skills including:

Participation
The Personal Development (SCQF Level 2) course aims to enable learners to develop knowledge of self and their own development needs through self evaluation and review. This course also develops self-reliance and self confidence through supported and independent learning. Learners will demonstrate the ability to obtain and use information, further developing organisational skills and interpersonal skills.
All awards reflect Curriculm for Excellence values, purposes and principles. They offer flexibility, provide more time for learning, more focus on skills and applying learning, and scope for personalisation and choice.
