Welcome to the teacher toolkit, particularly if you are a new teacher at City Lit. Our tutors are our most valuable asset at City Lit and you help maintain our reputation for outstanding learning and student-centric approach.

We consider ourselves to be world leaders in the field of teaching adults . However, we are never complacent and aspire to continually improve what we do and how we do it. Our reputation is built on two pillars, our expertise in the areas we teach and also our ability to communicate that knowledge in an interesting and engaging way.

We know you are an expert in your subject area, what we hope to do is to support you in becoming an expert educationalist too.

Teaching is an art and we never stop learning and improving. All of us should continue to learn throughout our lives – after all, that’s what City Lit is about!
