The Extension Project entitled “GAD GRACE (Gender-Responsive Advocacy to Change and Enable) for healthier living” is an extension project of the Office of Gender and Development, together with the Office of the Guidance Services of CHMSC Binalbagan. The extension program aims to achieve an enormous impact on the lives of women in Purok Tinago, Brgy. Anahaw, Hinigaran Negros Occidental through the trainings and awareness programs to be conducted by its team members. This extension project is a part of the goal of GAD and promoting the GREEN Community. The recipients of this project are the women and their children.
The extension project aims to construct a semi-concrete training hall and provide Gender Responsive Activities to Change and Enable the Community for healthier living. The semi concrete training hall is one of the requests of the 4H AIYFAWA based on the results of the Need Assessment conducted by the Program Team members. The project’s activities will include training and seminars on Values formation (Spiritual activities), Guidance & Counselling, Parenting (Responsible parenthood), Teenage pregnancy, Wellness, Health & Sanitation, and Gender & Development.
The extension project is anchored upon the following SDGs: SDG 3 which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages; specifically, SDG 3.7 which aims to ensure that all have access to family planning, information and education, and the integration of reproductive health into national strategies and programmes; SDG 5 which aims to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls; and SDG 10 which aims to reduce inequality by empowering and promoting the social, economic and political inclusion of all.

By the end of the seminar, the beneficiaries should be able to:
Construct semi –concrete training hall for women and their families that will serve as venue and protection in conducting various undertakings (Training, seminar workshop, meetings and other gatherings.)
acquire knowledge that will provide opportunities for family members to identify their source of inspirations and how to utilize their skills, talents and resources to the maximum for the benefits of their constituents, family and for one self
Capacitate the community on health service delivery indulging Gender and Development.
Encourage the community to promote physical and mental well-being for excellent Performance.
Recognize and highlights family and community key roles and responsibilities in promoting gender responsive activities, and the GREEN program of school.
Be critical, sensitive and aware of different gender issues in community and identify solution to address the issues
Apply learned knowledge and skill for responsive activities to improve their quality of life.
Below is an infographic showing the breakdown of the approved budget for the GAD Grace extension project amounting to P149,500.00. The budget covers a budget of P48,325.00 for Phase 1:Training and Seminar, P53,325.00 for Phase 2: Training and Seminar, P18,900.00 for Transportation, P18,000.00 for the Speakers' Honorarian, P6,4500.00 for Monitoring and Evaluation of the extension project, P3,000.00 for tokens, and P1,500.00 for tarpaulins.
