The Extension Project of the faculty of the Department of Education entitled “Project CLEAN: Community Livelihood and Education for Anahaw Now” aims to provide information and training for partners to prepare them to be self-reliant and to establish a medium-scale Vermi Composting Project which will serve as an avenue to develop entrepreneurial capabilities among them. The project aims to provide knowledge among partners on the benefits of Vermiculture, encourage the partners to engage their resources in vermicomposting, augment family income while doing farming, undergo commercial production of Vermicompost for income generation, and pilot the utilization of biodegradable resources for income generation and helps the government towards its drive to organic agriculture.
