IT TRENDS SEMINARS FOR STUDENTS

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology 4th year students attended several IT Trends Seminars conducted by resource speakers from partners industry, academe partners, and government. The College invited speakers that could impart new knowledge and learnings to the graduating students to be equipped with the innovations and trends in society. Through the IT Trends seminars, students are able to receive certificates after the seminars or training.

OJT STUDENT'S SYSTEM UTILIZATION

During the Pandemic, OJT students are not allowed to be deployed in the industry, and to comply with their OJT requirements, the students developed a various systems for CHMSU-Binalbagan and utilized by different offices that will help them to render services to their clientele in more efficient and effective way.

RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM

For the completion of the graduating students requirements in their CAPSTONE PROJECT, they are required to present in the Research Colloquium of the BSIT Program

INTRAMURALS 2021-2022

PAHAMPANG SA PANDEMYA 2021

The Covid Pandemic had a significant influence on Carlos Hilado Memorial State University's face-to-face activities in addition to the general public's health. Students had to make many adjustments to balance their academics with extracurricular activities that may enhance their abilities in the arts, sports, and culture. The Pahampang sa Pandemya 2021 enables students to participate in a variety of sports, and cultural events where they can showcase their skills. This inspired the students to develop a relationship with their team and their programs throughout the event.

CULTURAL EVENTS

The cultural coordinator Mr. Enrique Gemoya Jr., pursued various activities in the culture and arts. Students were encouraged to showcase their talents in terms of singing, dancing, cheerdance, and beauty pageants. Every department will have its representative and this develops the self-confidence of the students and be ready for competition.

Ms. Siari Iligan, an IT Instructor was in-charge of Mr. and Ms. CHMSC competition during the event.

INTERCAMPUS 2021-2022

SPORTS FEST 2022

The Sportsfest 2022 gave the students and coaches a chance to showcase their abilities in different sports at Carlos Hilado Memorial State University. Eventually, they also compete in the Inter-campus meet held on the main campus, Talisay.

3 IT Instructors were coached during the Sportfest Intercamous Meet at Talisay, namely Ms. Gerle C. Alabado and Mr. Joken E. Villanueva who were coaches for Table Tennis, men's and women's categories. Ms. Gaily Rey April M. Guzon on the other hand was a coach of Badminton, women's category. The majority of the badminton team were IT students.

CULTURAL 2022

The Mr. and Ms. CHMSU contestants participate in the cultural event on Talisay's Main Campus. Their coaches and mentors, who are devoted to providing training and inspiring the student participants, help them to win various awards in the beauty pageant.

Ms. Siari Iligan, an IT Instructor was the coach of Ms. CHMSC-Binalbagan during the Mr. and Ms. CHMSC competition.

ISO External Audit was participated by the BSIT Program to acquired an ISO certification 9001:2015.

COURSERA TRAININGS

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Faculty undergo several trainings in COURSERA through the DICT-Caraga initiative. In line with this, faculty will received a certification in every trainings they attended and passed the exam.
