The Extension Project of the faculty members of the Department of Business Administration entitled “Exploring Value-Chain of the Agricultural Products for Sustainable Business for 4H Anahaw Integrated Young Farmers and Workers Association” aims to provide partners educational learning on simple bookkeeping and proper costing of the product that would lead to sustainability of the business enterprise. The project team, which includes BSBA faculty and students, will provide seminars/training and education that will provide proper bookkeeping and costing of products in order to have sustainability in the businesses. Such activities would give rise to expansion, employment generation, and income generation for others in the community.
The extension project supports several SDGs by the UN such as the SDG 2.3 which aims to double the agricultural productivity and incomes of small-scale food producers through equal access to productive resources and inputs, knowledge, financial services, markets and opportunities for value addition and nonfarm employment; and SGD 8 which promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all through development-oriented policies, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, and encourage the formalization and growth of micro, small and medium sized enterprises, including through access to financial services.
To provide beneficiaries educational learning on simple bookkeeping and proper costing of the product that would lead to sustainability of business enterprise.
By the end of the seminar, the beneficiaries should be able to:
1. Effectively and efficiently manage their financial resources.
2. Apply learned knowledge to agri-businesses leading to a sustainable business enterprise that shows growth and development.
3. Generate income and employment to the community.
