Did you ever wonder how the first battle of Saratoga ended? The battle of Saratoga was rough battle from the pressure applied from the British yet the Americans found a way to gain that victory.
The start of the battle. This battle started because of the British putting up taxes on everything. People were not amused from the taxes so they were trying to find a way to travel over in different areas so their would be no taxes. Soon enough the war kicked up because the British kept on demanding money for taxes from the Americans.
The Attack. After all the taxes the battle came along a war was called in, General Burgoyne from the British used a strategy called divide and conquer. Afterwards in Fort Ticonderoga the Americans were outnumbered and they had less artillery than the British so they had to retreat. The way the Americans went was all the way to mount independence so they can take a break and prep up.
The victory stand. From the American side General John Stark captured about 500 german troops. For a cause of sabotage general Schuyler went and burnt enemy supplies and crops. Soon enough with all the might and brains put into this battle the Americans were able to claim their victory in Saratoga.
Even with all the pressure applied from the British troops in that battle the Americans fought hard and kept going to where they were able to win the War.
