Have you ever heard about the Stamp Act before? It was the fourth in the timeline of acts that the British charged that ultimately lead to the American Revolution.
The start of the Stamp Act from British parliament. It started from the British government in 1765 March 22. The tax made it so any paper goods would have a tax. The tax was to pay the British and was lead by King George the third.
The reaction of the colonist was fierce they were very mad at the British. The taxes just got worse. With the taxes worse there would be something else coming after this tax.
The protest was unbearable few people they could do something about it. There were months of protest. Benjamin Franklin in France noticed it too. Something had to be done.
This is the stamp act a tax on paper goods. Which you will see leads too many other acts and even the Boston Tea party. Which continues and goes through more taxes and leads to the American Revolution.
