First, you probably are wondering what started it.Well It started when the British found out about what had happened to the tea.They made the Intolerable Acts as a punishment for what they did to the tea.Also something I learned that was amazing is that the name Intolerable Acts came from the American Patriots who felt they simply couldn't “Tolerate” such unfair laws.
Second,I am going to tell you about what the 5 Intolerable Acts are.The first act was the Boston Port Act and that meant that you had to pay for all the tea you split.Then the second act is the Administration justice Act that means the governor has more power and they only have one meeting a year.Now I am going to tell you about the third act that is the Massachusetts Governor Act.The third act allowed the governor to move capital trials against the government officials to the Great Britain and the fourth act is the Quartering Acts that means any soldier that comes to your door and wants to stay has to be let in and given food.Last is the Quebec Act that mean they expanded the British Canadian territory south in Ohio valley.
Last,I am going to talk about what happened at the end when the Intolerable Acts were made.So the intolerable Acts were made to solve problem but instead they just got bigger.It started the First Continental Congress on September 1774.
