We had a lovely time celebrating Sukkot together. We enjoyed both a snack and lunch in the Sukkah. We all took turns shaking the lulav (palm, myrtle and willow branches) and the etrog (a lemon-like citron) together. The children discussed how the lulav and etrog remind us that we all may be a little different, but when we come together, we can be a strong community of kindness.
We thought about what you need if you are making a sukkah (you need to be able to see through the roof), and then we built tiny sukkahs and painted sweet little people to go inside.
