9:00-9:45 Morning Routine - Journal, Provocation and play

9:45-10:30 Morning Circle

10:30-10:45 Potty/Snack

10:45-12:30 Morning learning - Reading and content lessons/Individual play and project time

12:30-1:00 LUNCH and Storytime

1:00 -2:00 OUTDOOR or INDOOR play/gross motor activities/YOGA

2:00-2:45 Afternoon learning-large/small group or 1 to 1/Literacy and center play

2:45-3:00 Afternoon meeting

Pre-K/K/1 Grade Level Objectives - While the stages of development are often predictable, the pacing and achievement of milestones for each child will vary.

The pre-k/k/1 curriculum is flexible and organic, often based on the interests of the children and flowing from their questions. Regardless of the direction the lessons take, the skills and academic goals of each individual child is incorporated into the learning. Many of our lessons are developed with creative or open-ended features that support different styles of learning.

The children are encouraged to always do their best work, and are supported and challenged based on their individual learning needs.
