Hello, Bobcats!

My name is Kelly Cox, and I’m excited to begin my second year as a Dyslexia Specialist! I started my teaching career in Austin, Texas, in 2002, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grades. Our family moved to this area in 2021, and I had the pleasure of teaching 2nd grade at O'Dell Elementary before transitioning to Martin to serve students as a Dyslexia teacher.

This November, my husband and I will be celebrating 20 wonderful years of marriage! We have a lively household with five children—three human and two furry. Our oldest daughter is heading off to DePaul University this year, our middle daughter is entering her sophomore year of high school, and our youngest son will be in 3rd grade. Our furry family members include an energetic Australian Shepherd and a wild little kitten we added to the mix this summer—they’re still working on becoming friends!
