Welcome to Martin Elementary School.  My name is Marla Fowler and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade this year.  This is my 29th year of teaching, my 6 year in Celina. 

I am originally from Durant, Oklahoma, but have lived in Texas far longer than I lived in Oklahoma.  

I love to craft, shop and read,  An odd thing about ne is I do not like coffee, I get my caffeine through Dr Pepper. 

I hope to meet you all soon and begin making memories through the year.  I love getting to know the families as well as the students so please keep communication open and be as involved as you can this year!!

Meet the Teacher will be on Monday, August 11th. 

Please bring all of the supplies on our 1st grade list.  You will be sorting them with your child at Meet the Teacher.  Also, please label the following items with your child's name:  scissors, school bag,  headphones.

Please be sure to know how your child will be getting home the first three days of school, so I can document it at Meet the Teacher.
