Muddy Mat is machine washable, however, to maintain your Muddy Mat's optimal condition, appearance, and performance, we recommend washing it only when heavily dirty or muddy. 

For light dirt, dust, or mud, we recommend simply shaking it out outside a few times.

Excessive machine washing or high heat drying can damage the non-slip backing, which may occur due to frequent washing. 

Here’s your guide on how to properly wash your Muddy Mat.

- Wash with similar colors in cold water using standard detergent. 

- Avoid fabric softeners and bleach, as they may diminish the mat’s absorbency.

- Dry on low heat (no fabric softeners).

If your mats have difficulty in the spin cycle, consider:

- Washing two mats together or adding some towels to balance the load

- Running an additional spin cycle to remove more water, allowing for quicker air-drying

- Avoiding exposure to high heat, as this may deteriorate the non-slip backing.

To clean the insert of your Cloud K9 Dog Bed, please follow these steps:

1. Unfasten the velcro to remove the insert completely from the cover.

2. Wash on the gentle cycle with cold water using standard detergent (no fabric softeners or bleach even in the detergent).

3. Dry on low heat. For extra fluffiness, you can add a tennis ball to the dryer. The tennis ball helps to fluff the foam during the drying process.
