Create a Public Chat Room: #️auditorium
Public group chats can be joined by anyone in the Campuswire class without needing to be invited by an existing member.Â
Every class has a #general public group chat where any member of the class can ask questions or start a discussion.

Step by step instructions to create a public chat room (#️general):
1.Go to the left side of your CampusWire screen and click on the correct icon to navigate to your class
2. Once you are within your class, go to the lower left hand side of the screen and select “#Rooms”
3. Within the Rooms tab, click on the blue circle with a plus sign to create a room. Select Create a chat room from the drop down menu
4. When prompted, finish setting up your public chat room:
Type in the chat room name as #general
Make sure the privacy toggle switch is switched offÂ
    When done, click the create button in the bottom right cornerÂ
5. Your public chat room is now created!
    Under the “Chat rooms” section to the left of your screen, you will see your new public chat room.
