Personal Success and Wellbeing is a qualification that has been designed to support a balanced curriculum by assisting students with effective development in personal, social, health, and wellbeing. They build on the broad objectives of the Northern Ireland Curriculum, aiming to empower young people to achieve their potential and help them deal more effectively with personal and social issues that may affect their physical and mental health.
There are 9 units in Personal Success and Wellbeing.
Students will complete 5 units in Year 11 and 4 units in Year 12.
There is no formal examination for this subject so all evidence is based on portfolio work.
If students complete the 9 assignments to the standard expected, they will pass the course and achieve an equivalent to GCSE Grade B.
