Travel and Tourism is a dynamic and exciting growth industry that offers many adventurous and rewarding job opportunities. This course will provide students with valuable experience and the skills that are essential to pursue a career in the travel and tourism industry.

Course Structure
● 75% coursework which is set and marked in school then verified by an external examiner
● 25% exam which is marked by external examiner. The test lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. The assessment can be sat in January and June and students have the change to re-sit the exam once.
At Level 2 Travel and Tourism consists of four units:
2 units in Year 11 -
● The UK Travel and Tourism Sector (External Exam worth 25%)
● UK Travel and Tourism Destinations
2 units in Year 12
● The travel and tourism Customer Service Experience
● International Travel and Tourism Destinations

Belfast Met - Level 3 Travel and Tourism (equivalent to 3 A Levels)
South West College Dungannon - Level 3 Travel and Tourism (equivalent to 3 A Levels)
Foundation Degree - Hospitality and Tourism at Ulster University
