How do I access my H: Drive at home?
Go to the Burnside Home Page.
Click on the Student Portal at the top left hand side of the page.
Enter the Student portal password. Ask your teacher for this if you don't know what it is.
Scroll down to Student tools > My School Storage.
Log in and you will have access to your files so you can download them at home. To Download files click on More > Download as Zip
How do I get a Adobe student license?
Through the school you have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite for just $25 a year.
Pay $25 for the license fee to the student office.
Email czj@burnside.school.nz with proof of payment.
Follow the instructions that will be e-mailed to you.

BYOD, what do I need?
All Digital Technology students have access to school computers during class so BYOD is optional though helpful.

If the student is planning on using their own device for any of Game Design, Product Design, Electronics and/or Software Engineering these additional minimum requirements are recommended.

Discrete graphics card †
SSD drive
Core i5 or Ryzen 5 CPU
1920 x 1080 resolution
A computer mouse (wireless can be easier)
Keyboard
* NOT a Chromebook or Windows S (these are unable to install the software we use in class).
† This is become less important with modern integrated graphics. Software Engineering does not require a graphics card
