Welcome to Year 6! Your child has reached this incredible milestone as 'the oldest in Primary'! We aim to make our students' final year exciting, challenging and fun by creating a nurturing and inclusive environment that emphasises holistic development: academically, socially and emotionally.
As teachers, we love learning and want our students to love it too. Through a rich curriculum and engaging projects, we empower Year 6 students to become confident, compassionate and responsible individuals.
Join us in supporting your child's journey to create a community where every child thrives. Here's to a year of growth and discovery!

Library Visits
Each class will visit once a week to choose 3 books.
These are returned (or renewed the following week).
Our expectation in Year 6 is that children are choosing a variety of texts and seeking to challenge and develop their reading.
Here is a suggested fiction Reading List.
Students can also visit the library independently during Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes.
Please see this document for events and dates in Year 6 for Term 3.
There are plenty of ways to support learning at home. Here are links to key apps and websites for Reading and Maths practice. Your child will have logins for these provided by school.
