At British School Jakarta, our KG2 classes are a place where your child’s curiosity and creativity can thrive. We provide a joyful and supportive environment where learning is an adventure, guided by play and exploration. Our caring team is dedicated to helping each child develop confidence, social skills, and a love for learning. We look forward to being part of your child’s exciting journey in KG2!

Meet the team

There are two classes in KG2

Routines

Children will require the following items each day: A water bottle, hat, snack and lunch (unless purchasing food from school), a spare set of clothes (to be kept at school), mosquito repellant and sunscreen applied.

Swimming- Tuesday for both KG2 classes (Students should come to school wearing their batik uniform and bring their swimming kits)

Splash and Play- Friday for both KG2 classes (Students should come to school wearing their batik uniform and bring their swimming kits)

PE- Wednesday and Thursday for both classes (Students should come to school wearing their PE kits)

Library- Tuesday (KG2STE), Monday (KG2NPR)

How to support at home

• Remain positive about school and about all of the wonderful things children will learn and do each day

• Talk, talk, talk

• Read lots of books together and listen to your child read every day (once reading books are coming home)

• Encourage your child to be independent

• Play games with your child

• Talk to your child’s teacher if you are worried

• Make sure your child gets a great nights sleep

• For children bringing in lunch and snack from home, please ensure that this is healthy and nutritious. Remember no nuts or shellfish.
