Georgina empezó a venir al mercado muy recientemente. Se enteró de ello cuando alguien del Progreso Latino Food Pantry le dio un volante.

Me lo dio un muchacho del [Progreso Latino Food Pantry]. Cuando yo voy a buscar comida. Que lo dan los miércoles. El me dio el papelito amarillo que le dan a uno para ponerlo en el carro. El almacén de provisiones queda por la Lonsdale. 

Vivo cerca de acá. Antes, compraba la comida en un supermercado. En un Price Rite. A veces en el Bravo.

En casa, suelo preparar lo normal de nosotros, los dominicanos. Arroz, habichuelas, carne. No sé cómo le dicen ustedes a los víveres. Plátano, yuca. Batata. Cosas así. Papa. Las frutas a veces, cuando uno tiene hambre, cuando uno no quiere comer cosas pesadas, especialmente de noche, uno come una fruta. O un vaso de agua.
