On Friday, BES hosted our 4th annual Buddies, Books, and Bagels event — and it continues to grow each year! It was a fantastic morning connecting with families, exploring the BOGO Book Fair, and sharing ways BES can partner with parents to support student success.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for making this event possible and to all the parents and guardians who joined us. Your involvement makes all the difference!

🎉🐾 8th Grade Celebration Dance! 🐾🎉

Last Friday night, our 8th Grade Celebration Dance was in full swing! 💃🕺

Our amazing 8th graders were dancing, laughing, and making memories that will last a lifetime as we celebrated the end of an unforgettable year. The music was pumping, the photo booth was buzzing 📸, and the energy was absolutely incredible! 💙💛

So proud of this group and excited for what’s ahead!🐾🎶✨

At Breckenridge Community Schools, we’re proud to celebrate our incredible staff and teachers who go above and beyond for our students every single day. This week has been filled with moments that showcase just how dedicated and compassionate our team truly is:

✨ Our teachers created hands-on science experiences across buildings — including high school chemistry students sharing experiments with our elementary classrooms!
📚 Staff hosted another successful Buddies, Books, and Bagels event, connecting families to learning in a meaningful way.
🎉 Our team helped organize and run a packed Middle School Track Invite, supporting students and setting the stage for a new school record!
💬 Throughout it all, staff have continued building strong relationships and showing that at BCS — students always come first.

A huge THANK YOU to our community for the incredible support at Thursday’s Middle School Track Invitational! This event continues to be a highlight of the season — and this year didn’t disappoint.

We witnessed some amazing performances, great sportsmanship, and even a new school record! 👏🔥

We’re proud of our athletes and grateful for the volunteers, staff, and families who made it all possible.

🎲📚 "G" is for Game Day in First Grade! 📚🎲

Our first graders are having a blast as they review the alphabet — and Tuesday was all about the letter G! What better way to celebrate than with Game Day?

👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 Our high school chemistry students brought science to life this week with a special visit to Breckenridge Elementary! They shared their chemistry knowledge through fun, hands-on activities and sparked curiosity in our youngest Huskies. Great job building connections and inspiring future scientists! 🔬 

This week, our seventh graders explored the beautiful art of calligraphy as they wrapped up their unit on the Arab-Muslim Empires. It was fascinating to see them connect history with hands-on creativity, and even more fun to watch them master a brand new writing tool!

Sixth Grade Showdown!

This week, our sixth graders have been diving back into Units 1–10 with a high-energy review and bonus challenges to boost their group scores! From singing and dancing to writing poems and more, they’ve been bringing creativity and enthusiasm to the classroom.

The winning group will be revealed tomorrow and they’ll get to choose a special treat from Mrs. Baldwin!

🎶🐾 Our Music Program Shined! 🐾🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Sunday for the Spring Band Concert! The HS gym was packed with incredible community support, and our students gave an amazing performance! 🎺🥁🎷

Your encouragement means the world to them, and we’re so proud of the talent and dedication on display. 💙💛
