“You know where to find me” is an exploration of my identity as a trans person. The painting explores the societal understanding of submission and dominance going hand in hand with gender, and my urges to go beyond that. As a trans masc person, I feel like I must be dominant in all aspects of life as that is what men are taught to do. However, what if that is not who I am?
