I love painting flags. It started years ago with American flags ripped, on fire, not nice looking. I used heavy black lines to connect everything. Very wavy lines. Like neuron-connectors in the brain. With India ink! In 2021 I got heavily into doing Pride flags in this style. This is Trans American, one of the Trans Flags I have made. It shows how we are all connected. How all aspects and genders connect to one thing: a whole person. I love the colors of the trans flag, I like squigly bits and drips. It feels like expression to me. This is expressing myself as a trans person through our specific Pride flag!
