Tom played a significant part in the transformation of the Rugby programme; his contribution will not be forgotten.

We wish Tom all the best for the future.
During my time at Bohunt I have been supported and encouraged to pursue my love of sport. I have had many opportunities to develop skills that I can use on and off the pitch as well as being given the chance to mentor and lead others. This has resulted in a place at the London Irish rugby academy to study my further education.
Freddie finished his time at Bohunt School in 2020, after leaving his mark on the basketball court.
Freddie played a crucial part in his years groups highly successful Basketball Team after winning several County and District competitions.
Outside of school, Freddie has won two National Titles with the very successful Solent Kesterals side.
Freddie has gained a place at Itchen College to join their Diploma in Sporting Excellence in September 2020.
We would like to wish Freddie all the best in his future career and maybe one day we will see him in the BBL or even the NBA.
The PE Department at Bohunt provided me with the support and guidance I needed to progress through each stage of my basketball career. They helped me make the decision to play for Team Solent Kestrels, which led to me representing the England’s South region and winning two National Championships. I will always be indebted to them for the advice and encouragement they gave me during my time at Bohunt.
Chris is a former student who showed his class on the Basketball Court. During his time at Bohunt he won multiple County and League titles.
After leaving Bohunt, Chris went to study at Garrett in the USA. He won back to back XX Tournaments and his team finished 10th in the NCAA League.
Chris returned to the UK, after completing his Business degree, and signed for the Solent Kesterals. He won promotion from Division 2 in his first season and has taken the team to a two league titles, a play-off title and reached the BBL Cup Final for the first time.
Bohunt’s PE department gave me the best opportunities to perform at the highest levels I could. They introduced me to the game of basketball and helped me to fall in love with it and gave me the passion and drive to want to be better. They gave me the tools and guidance to allow me to improve in basketball and football. They helped me to become a better player as well as a better leader on and off the court. I would not have had the experiences that I’ve had without them, I also wouldn’t be where I am and the type of man that I am today without them. I will forever be grateful for them as they allowed me to achieve and go places I could have only ever imagined.
Will was the captain of an extremely strong Bohunt School team who finished in the top eight school teams in his final year. Whilst playing National League basketball with the Solent Kestrels Will began to make rapid progress going on to represent England at U18 level. He then left England to play in the USA first spending a year with Central Park Christian (Prep School), then Daytona State for two years (NJCAA Div 1) before spending a further three years at Little Rock (NCAA Div 1).
Upon leaving University in America Will has gone on to play professional basketball in Spain, Sweden, Hungary and closer to home at various BBL teams in this country.
Bohunt is a big reason I made it to becoming a pro basketball player. I was very lucky that the coaches/teachers were very passionate and loved basketball. We would have practices before school and after school. They would also let me use the court when needed so that I could further my skills. One of the biggest things that helped me was being allowed to play up an age group therefore increasing the challenge. Bohunt really gave me every opportunity to become the best player I could be which I am very grateful for. I really encourage current students to take full advantage of the provision available to them.
Jason Brooks attended Bohunt School from '94-'98, joining the basketball team in his second year. Under the guidance of Paul Barry, he soon joined the Hampshire team, and then through the regional South West England team was selected to train with the England Cadet (U18) team in '97.
He ultimately earned 25 international caps for both Cadet and Junior national teams, before continuing to pursue his basketball and academic goals at Princeton University in New Jersey.
Jason is now a cameraman and film editor, and although he no longer plays competitive basketball, he is enormously grateful for the athletic and personal guidance offered by Mr. Barry and other Bohunt staff during his formative years.
