The PE department headed to North America in October 2025, taking football and basketball teams to Boston and New York. Students explored the Empire State Building, Times Square, Fenway Park and the Basketball Hall of Fame, watched the Brooklyn Nets play the Atlanta Hawks, and played plenty of matches themselves. “It’s been incredibly rewarding to see it all come together. From unforgettable games to new friendships and once-in-a-lifetime experiences,” said PE teacher Alex Waterfield.
Our U14 Boys Basketball team made it to the National Schools Basketball Finals where they fought Kent Hill Academy at the Basketball England Performance Centre in Manchester. The team played a phenomenal game but our boys' finished as runner's up with a final score of 115-92. The boys should be very proud of their efforts to reach the finals and will definitely come back stronger next year.

Both our U12 Girls and Boys basketball teams won their respective County Basketball Championships, played at Solent University. The girls fought against Ringwood School whilst the Boys faced Kings School, Winchester!
A huge well done to Seb in Year 9 who has been selected for the 2025 U17 GB Rock Climbing team, in both the boulder and lead climbing disciplines (despite being only 14 years old!) A fantastic achievement!!
Our U16 Boys’ Hockey team travelled to Nottingham for the Tier 3 National Hockey Competition and put in a phenomenal effort, competing with determination and pride.
The U16 boys Bohunt team became the tier 3 regional champions and qualified for the England Hockey Tier 3 national finals in Nottingham!! This is the last year for some of the boys and they truly deserve to finish their time at Bohunt, qualifying for nationals.
The U14 Boys played Cove school in an impressive District Cup Final and won 48-15 to become District Champions!
The U14 Girls finish as District Runners-up in a tight game finishing 16-12. The girls played phenomenally holding FHES to 16 points for the majority of the second half. The U15 Boys lost out in the final in the last few seconds of their game vs. Salesian.
Our hockey and rugby students recently returned from an unforgettable tour to Marbella, where they enjoyed an incredible experience both on and off the pitch. The students competed against local opposition, demonstrating great teamwork, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tour.
Away from competition, the group had the opportunity to visit the Málaga CF stadium, gaining a behind-the-scenes insight into professional sport. With plenty of sunshine, cultural experiences and shared memories, the tour was a huge success and an experience the students will remember for years to come.

Congratulations to Theo N on an outstanding season of success. Under his captainship, the Aldershot and Farnborough U14 District Schools’ team secured both the Hampshire Cup and the Williams Cup. On Friday 17th May, our Year 11 Boys Football Team were crowned County Cup Champions, defeating Salesian 2-0 in an impressive display of skill and teamwork. Every player gave their all on the pitch, capping off a fantastic five years of dedication and commitment. We are incredibly proud of the boys — well done! 👏🏆⚽️
Today, our students competed at the England Hockey National State School Championships with outstanding results.
The U14 Boys became National State School Plate Champions, showcasing determination, skill, and teamwork throughout the tournament.
Meanwhile, the U14 Girls went unbeaten to reach the T2 Cup final, ultimately finishing as runners-up in the T2 National State School Championships — an incredible achievement for the team.

Our Year 10 & 11 Netballers had a blast on their Disneyland Paris Netball tour! The girls fought hard to place well in the tournaments and enjoyed a day roaming the Disneland Paris parks. Thank you to Mrs Rouse for organising the tour - a huge success!
In October, our 22/23 U14 Boys’ Hockey Team collected their Junior Sports Team of the year award from the Haslemere Sports Awards. A well deserved win after a fantastic season 🏆🥇

Congratulations to Bohunt student Sam, who represented GBR at the Cadet World Championships this summer in Belgium and was then crowned National Champion after winning the Cadet National Championship in Abersoch!
Well done to Bohunt student, Isabella E, who won the 2023 British Bouldering Championships and represented Great Britain in many European competitions this summer. She also qualified in 10th place at the Youth World Championships in Seoul, South Korea. A busy summer!

The U12 Boys' fought hard on the 13th June this year at the UWE Sports Centre to become the South West Regional Jr NBA Champs. This exciting day was the finale of an exciting season for the boys as they beat X to win their final game34-26.
The U14 Girls Basketball team had a fantastic 2022-2023 season and found their way into both the Hampshire County and League Cup Finals. The girls came up against an extremely talented St Nicks side in both finals and unfortunately were pipped at the post on both occasions. The girls remained strong throughout and look forward to going again next season!
The U15 Boys' Football Team had a successful 2022-2023 season and took on All Hallows School in May to fight for the title of District Cup Champions. Despite their best efforts, the boys came up short and a strong All Hallows side came away with a 5-1 win. An excellent game all around.
The U12 Girls' Basketball Team made it to the 2023 County Cup final against King's Winchester. Despite their best efforts, the girls were pipped at the post by a strong Kings' side. We go again next year!

The U12 and U13 Boy's Basketball Teams were lucky enough to be paid a visit by the Solent Kestrel's Male Basketball Team and Coaches. The boy's had a great time learned a lot!
