Beyond school, many of our students are exceptional athletes competing at County, Regional, National, and even International level across a wide range of sports. Their dedication, discipline, and ambition shine far beyond the classroom, with each one balancing high-performance sport alongside their academic studies.
A selection of their outstanding achievements are showcased below.
Sebastian (10ANU)
Seb travelled to the Youth Climbing Championship National final for 2 days in the Autumn of 2023. Day 1 was lead climbing day when he finished 2nd and day two was bouldering day where he finished 3rd. He worked so hard to win the silver medal, only 1 boulder attempt away from taking the overall win. He was crowned reserve champion and the second best combined climber in his age category in the UK. More recently, Seb has been selected for the 2025 U17 GB Rock Climbing team, in both the boulder and lead climbing disciplines (despite being only 14 years old!) A fantastic achievement!!
Max (11PSR)
Max is a proven leader on and off the court, Max captained Bohunt School to the Dynamik Schools National Championship in Manchester, earning MVP honours in the national finals. His winning mentality continued with a Kampi Championship title for Bayanihan Elite, a 3rd place national finish with the Surrey Rams in the NBA League, and a County Cup victory for Bohunt. In March, Max travelled to the Philippines to compete in the Global Hoops Tournament, where he helped secure the U18 championship title. His performances have now earned him a full scholarship offer to pursue basketball at one of the top basketball universities in the Philippines — an exciting next step in an already outstanding journey.
Mylee (12TAS)
Delivering an extraordinary performance on the world stage, Mylee H in Year 12 proudly represented Team GB at the World Martial Arts Games in Norway, where she was awarded Overall Most Successful Athlete. Competing across 16 categories, Mylee achieved an incredible 9 World Champion titles, 4 Vice Champion finishes, and 2 bronze medals — a truly remarkable achievement and a testament to her dedication, talent, and hard work.
Marley (7HHM)
Huge congratulations to Marley M — one of our rising gamechangers. Over Easter 2026, Marley travelled to Portugal with the England Roller Hockey Academy, helping his team achieve an outstanding 2nd place finish in an international tournament. His hard work and performances have also earned him selection for the U15s Southern and Eastern Counties squad, marking another exciting milestone in his sporting journey.
Pippa (13SRL)
Representing at the highest level with leadership and composure, Pippa L, a Sixth Form student, proudly co-captained the Team GB Junior Roller Derby squad at the Junior Roller Derby World Cup in Australia this summer. In an outstanding achievement on the international stage, she helped lead her team to a brilliant bronze medal finish — a remarkable result and a testament to her skill, determination, and leadership.
Antek (8NRV)
Competing against the very best young athletes in the country, Antek C proudly represented Surrey at the UK Sportshall Indoor Athletics Championships as part of the U13 boys’ team. Surrey finished an incredible 3rd in the nation, with Antek competing in three separate events. One of the standout moments saw him help his obstacle relay team secure national gold — an amazing achievement for such a talented young athlete.
Rupert (9NSH)
Showing incredible determination at a national level, Rupert K travelled to Aberdeen over the Easter weekend to compete in the Scottish National Swimming Championships. Taking on some of the country’s top swimmers, Rupert achieved an outstanding 10th place national finish in the 200m butterfly — a fantastic accomplishment and a testament to his hard work and commitment in the pool.
Laura (10HJK)
Achieving an outstanding result on the water, Laura J delivered a superb performance at the RS Feva National Championships, finishing 1st in the Ladies category and 5th overall out of 94 boats. A fantastic national-level achievement that reflects real skill, consistency, and determination.
Clara (10TAB)
Clara is now in her fifth year Cheerleading and trains twice a week at Unity Allstars, one of the UK’s most successful cheerleading clubs. Since joining Unity two seasons ago from Eclipse Allstars, Clara has continued to thrive, having already competed internationally in Barcelona in 2024 where her team finished an impressive 4th.
This season, Clara is competing nationally eight times and heads to the British National Championships in Telford aiming to secure a bid to the Summit Finals in Florida next year. She will also compete internationally in Lisbon with her team Peppermint in the inaugural European Summit against 23 other teams. Her team has already enjoyed an outstanding season, being crowned National Champions and Grand Champions at four of their five competitions so far.
Harry (11NAZ)
Harry continues to establish himself as one of the country’s most exciting young middle-distance athletes. Now competing as a first-year U18 athlete, he opened his 2026 season with a superb 800m personal best of 1:54.86 — achieving both the National and English Schools qualifying standards and ranking him 4th in the UK for Year 11 athletes.
Harry also impressed at the Sussex County Championships in the 400m, achieving the English Schools qualifying standard in both the heats and final with an outstanding 50.86. His recent successes add to an impressive record that includes finishing 7th in the UK U17 800m rankings in 2025, winning the Southern Intercounties title for Sussex, and securing bronze at the England Athletics National Championships in 2024.
Katie (8PGK)
Recognised for both her performance in the Shot put, Katie was recently named Athlete of the Year across all age groups at her club — an award that reflects her determination, consistency, and positive approach to training. Her coaches praised her willingness to listen, apply feedback, and the fantastic attitude she brings to every session.
Katie has also earned selection to represent Hampshire after finishing 2nd at the Hampshire Trials and has achieved a personal best in every competition this season. Her excellent form currently places her 7th in the UK — an outstanding achievement.
Phoebe (11TJK)
Making a fantastic step up in her football journey, Phoebe P in Year 11 enjoyed an excellent debut for Brighton & Hove Albion U19s. Taking to the pitch with confidence at a higher level, she made an immediate impact and marked a proud milestone in her development — a brilliant achievement and exciting sign of what’s to come.
Harry (8HML)
Excelling across multiple events, Harry delivered an outstanding performance at the Hampshire County Championships this weekend. He was crowned Hampshire County Champion in both Javelin and Discus, while also securing an impressive 3rd place finish in Shot Put. His remarkable 35.55m Discus throw is expected to rank him 3rd in the UK once the Power of 10 standings are updated — an incredible achievement and a testament to his hard work and athletic ability.
Georgie (10CSP)
Demonstrating outstanding talent and teamwork, Georgie M has enjoyed a fantastic season in netball. Representing the Hampshire U15s, she helped lead her team to victory at the South Counties Tournament, overcoming Essex, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire, and Kent to take the title. Adding to an already impressive achievement, Georgie has also earned selection for the Weston Park Blades Regional U16 squad — a brilliant recognition of her dedication and performances on court.
Seb (9TBM)
Driven by an incredible passion for golf, Seb has enjoyed a remarkable year of progress and success on the course. After reaching and winning the national final of the Faldo Futures last year, he also claimed victory at the Rowlands Castle Junior Open Championship and secured an impressive 3rd place finish at Blackmoor. Through countless hours of dedication — often playing or practising 36 holes a day during the summer holidays — Seb has lowered his handicap from 22 to 9 in just one year. Representing both Petersfield Golf Club and Hampshire Golf, Seb’s commitment and rapid development continue to make him one to watch.
Will (7PCB)
Recognised for an exceptional season, Year 7 student Will G has enjoyed a standout year with his Under-12 National League team, finishing undefeated with an impressive 14–0 record.
Throughout the season, Will consistently impressed with his athleticism, commitment, and team-first attitude, averaging 21 points per game. His performances earned him selection to the Aspire Inter-Regional All-Star Five (South England) as well as the Coaches’ Player of the Year award — a fantastic reflection of both his impact on court and his work ethic off it.
Esme (12ABH)
Delivering an outstanding performance on the acrobatic stage, Esme S and her partner have qualified for the Acrobatic National Finals after winning the Southern Regional Acrobatics competition. Their success reflects incredible teamwork, precision, and dedication — a fantastic achievement and a brilliant step onto the national stage.
Oli (10CSP)
Demonstrating years of commitment and dedication to rugby, Oli has been part of Havant Rugby Football Club since the age of five. His hard work and perseverance have now been rewarded with selection for the U16 Bath Academy Programme — a fantastic achievement in an extremely competitive environment. Oli was also recently recognised as Havant Rugby Club’s Best Breakthrough Player, highlighting the progress he has made over the past year. Competing against talented players to secure his place as a prop within the academy setup, Oli has shown outstanding patience, resilience, and determination, while continuing to be a supportive and valued teammate both on and off the pitch.
Martha (7ARR)
Showing resilience, determination, and a real passion for football, Martha has had an outstanding 25-26 season on the pitch. After successfully trialling for the Portsmouth in the Community U12 team, she will now be competing at JPL level next year — a fantastic achievement earned through hard work and commitment. With her club side, Beacon Hill Girls U12, Martha also helped secure a 2nd place league finish and promotion to Division 1. Following a difficult previous season due to illness, Martha showed incredible resilience to return stronger than ever. Never missing training and always supporting her teammates, she leads with both determination and kindness, making her a valued member of every team she represents.
Penelope (11TJK)
Competing on the national stage for the very first time, Penny delivered an outstanding performance at the British Ice Skating National Competition at the Oxford Open in June. Performing with confidence and composure beyond her years, the then Year 8 student showed no signs of nerves as she skated brilliantly to secure an impressive 7th place finish in her category — a fantastic achievement at her first national competition.
Theo (11NAZ)
Leading from the front, Theo N has had an outstanding season as captain of the Aldershot and Farnborough U16 District Schools team. Under his leadership, the side lifted both the Hampshire Cup and the Williams Cup, capping off a hugely successful campaign. Theo’s influence on and off the pitch has also been recognised individually, as he was named Player of the Season — a brilliant achievement reflecting his leadership, consistency, and impact.
Charlie (11AMB)
Delivering an excellent performance at county level, Charlie enjoyed a successful meet in the pool, returning home with a haul of medals. A standout moment saw him achieve his first-ever county qualifying time in the 400m Individual Medley — a fantastic milestone and a brilliant reflection of his progress and dedication in swimming.
Charlotte (11NAZ)
Delivering an outstanding performance at county level, Charlotte impressed at the U16 Junior Great South Run, finishing as the fastest girl from a Portsmouth postcode and placing 2nd overall. Her achievement was further recognised with the Christine Weeks Cup — a fantastic reward for her determination, speed, and consistency on the course.
Sam (12DPU)
Sam represented GBR at the Cadet World Championships held in Nieuwpoort, Belgium in August 2023. This was Sam’s first World Championships with her competing against 46 boats. She came 17th overall and was the 1st GBR boat.
Sam also competed in the Cadet National Championship held in Abersoch, North Wales, also in August 2023 - Sam won the competition and has been crowned National Champion!
