At Bohunt Liphook, we are committed to helping every student enjoy and succeed in physical education. Regular physical activity supports not only fitness and wellbeing, but also concentration, confidence and success in the classroom.
We ask for the support of parents and carers in ensuring that students arrive prepared for PE with the correct kit. This enables all students to take part fully, safely and confidently in lessons while maintaining the high standards expected at Bohunt.
The following items are required for all students, but can be either Bohunt-branded or non-branded plain black alternatives that meet our specifications:
Polo top
Midlayer
Tracksuit bottoms OR shorts OR leggings
Non-hooded rain jacket
Non-branded, and still required for all students
Trainers (& sport socks)
Studded boots
Gum shield

We understand that there may be occasions when illness or injury affects a student's ability to take part fully in PE lessons. However, wherever possible, students will still be involved in learning activities and are expected to attend the lesson.
If a student is unable to participate fully for a medical reason, a brief note from a parent or carer should be provided explaining the circumstances. Students are still expected to bring their PE kit and change for the lesson. This allows them to take on alternative roles, such as officiating, coaching, leading activities or analysing performance, ensuring they continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
For health and safety reasons, and to ensure students are appropriately dressed for outdoor conditions, all students are required to change into their PE kit, even when undertaking an alternative role.
Please note that not bringing PE kit to a lesson will be treated as a kit infringement and the school's sanction process will apply.
