Nineteen Student Athletes Sign to their Future School

On Tuesday Nov. 17, numerous Bishop O’Connell senior student-athletes committed to schools from Division I to Division III in numerous sports. In all, 19 were honored with a ceremony during Knight Time,where they signed their letter of intent to attend that school. There are nine different sports that have student athletes playing at the next level.
Justin Edwards committed to play basketball at Gannon College in Pa.
Lily Lizama, heading to Randolph-Macon in Va., and Carly Sweazie, who is going to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, both committed for women's basketball.
Baseball has five signees, with four going to Division I schools and one going to a Division III. Jack Woda is going to East Carolina University in N.C., Shota Fogus committed to Richmond University in Va., Bryant James is headed to the University of Virginia, Drew Markey is going to Presbyterian College in S.C. All four of them will be playing at the Division I level. Sam Lumia committed to Keuka College in N.Y. will be playing at Division III level.
Ella Fletcher and Gigi Payne are both heading to New York to play softball – Ella will be attending Le Moyne College, and Gigi will be at St. Bonaventure University.
Annalise Baldwin is going to Stevenson University in Md. and Molly Kinsella to Duquesne University in Pa., to play women’s soccer in college.
Boys lacrosse has three signees planning on playing men’s lacrosse in college. Wyatt Turbock is going to Virginia Wesleyan University, Arisotn Kroeger is going to the University of Mary Washington in Va., and Ryan Mulligan is going to Christopher Newport University in Va.
Caitlin Musolino is going to Princeton University in N.J., and Kayden Smith is going to Colgate University in N.Y.; both will play women’s lacrosse at the next level.
Swimming has one signee in Paul Mullen, who is going to the U.S Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
Rowing has one signee in Tessa Capelli, who is going to the University of Alabama.
