Living in Redding without a car can be challenging. Many students want to buy or rent a car.
Buying Used Cars
These days it can be hard to find a reliable used car, so if a student wants to buy one but does not have experience buying a used car, I try to find a volunteer willing to help them in some way, whether it be to search with them or to give them good advice.
Leasing a Car
We have some Bethel members who rent cars long-term to students. I invite them to the International Student Orientation so students can find out about their cars. It can be easier to lease a car than to buy one.
