Some school districts prefer to have Elementary School from Kindergarten through sixth grade. In that case, the children would go to Junior High School from 7th through 9th grade and High School from 10th through 12th grade.

Both public Primary and Secondary Education in the US are free, and Christian education is not because it is not funded by the government, which is why Christians are free to preach the gospel in our schools.
Parents may homeschool their children or choose to send them to a charter school. A charter school is funded by the government and is free, but it might have a special emphasis and so be a better choice for a particular child.
We have a bilingual one in Anderson, CA. It’s about 15 to 20 minutes from Redding. In this school, each child learns in English and in Spanish. It’s called Tree of Life International Charter School: https://treeoflife.school

Many want to send their children to Bethel Christian School, so please apply early to make sure there is space for your children. Bethel Christian School now also has an offsite high school.
There are other Christian schools in Redding, as well, and other charter schools . We also have a university preparatory school called U-Prep.
