Welcome to My MCT Graduation Portfolio ...

My name is Michael Giaimo, and I am an ELA teacher for 10-11th graders. I have five years of teaching under my belt, but I am still learning and accumulating new resources to help build my learning e-portfolio. In this collection of electronic resources, aligning with the ISTE-C standards, I hope you are exposed to and receive some ideas for your digital instruction! Some artifacts relate to my ELA courses; however, educators can apply some resources to any subject area! All these personal artifacts, philosophies, and resources help reflect on my experience in the Classroom Technology program at BGSU. They also create interactive and engaging techniques for educators to use later to create authentic digital learning experiences. As we prepare students for the future, it is important that we encourage 21st-century learners to make use of all the digital tools that will enrich their education. Please enjoy and feel free to leave any questions or suggestions to make my portfolio more enriching!
