Coaches inspire educators and leaders to use technology to create equitable and ongoing access to high-quality learning.
A) 4.2: Pursue professional learning that deepens expertise in the ISTE Standards in order to serve as a model for educators and leaders.
For this standard, I have included a dynamic media vision that helps outline possible technological initiatives that would bring success to our district. Upon outlining future advancements in our media, I tried to incorporate realistic changes that could be seen in education in the coming years. In envisioning future advancements in our media landscape, I have focused on realistic changes that align with evolving the landscape of education and exploring possibilities such as personalized learning experiences that help educators reflect on ways they can improve their practice.
B) 4.2: Actively participate in professional learning networks to enhance coaching practice and keep current with emerging technology and innovations in pedagogy and the learning sciences.
This artifact was my PLN development, created to address the need for continuous professional growth and development in today's interconnected world. The network listed below consists of ways that educators, professionals, and experts can come together to share knowledge, ideas, and resources related to their respective fields. This PLN offers numerous benefits, including access to diverse learning perspectives, innovative classroom practices, and emerging trends within the classroom. Through this PLN, educators can work to expand their knowledge and stay current with the advancements in education and technology. Through online platforms, such as social media, blogs, and webinars, PLN members engage in discussions, share prices, and network with each other. I want my future PLN systems to be supportive and resourceful. Ultimately, PLN networks are used for building strong communities within education and the professional community that embraces life-long learning. You can follow my PLN by clicking here.
C) 4.2.: Establish shared goals with educators, reflect on successes, and continually improve coaching and teaching practice.
For this standard, I chose to include technology tidbits that educators can use to improve their teaching, reflect on student successes, and reflect on student successes. Artifacts include enrichment articles, digital tools, lesson guides, and assistive technologies. These lessons could then be shared with other educators and instructors at PD sessions or staff meetings. You can access the video tutorial hre or the slideshow here.
