This artifact was my PLN development, created to address the need for continuous professional growth and development in today's interconnected world. The network listed below consists of ways that educators, professionals, and experts can come together to share knowledge, ideas, and resources related to their respective fields. This relates to the "Connected Learner" standard (ISTE-C 4.2) by actively participating in professional learning networks to enhance coaching practice and keep current with emerging technology. This PLN offers numerous benefits, including access to diverse learning perspectives, innovative classroom practices, and emerging trends within the classroom. Through this PLN, educators can work to expand their knowledge and stay current with the advancements in education and technology. It is my hope that we explore innovative ways to learn with the use of new forms of technology and platforms.
Through online platforms, such as social media, blogs, and webinars, PLN members engage in discussions, share prices, and network with each other. I want my future PLN systems to be supportive and resourceful. Ultimately, PLN networks are used for building strong communities within education and the professional community that embraces life-long learning. You can follow my PLN by clicking here.
AR is a growing technology that embeds digital content into the real world and offers a unique way to create immersive lessons in particular subject areas. The following presentation highlights how AR embodies Change Agent (ISTE-C 4.1) and Learning Designer (ISTE-C 4.4) standards by impressing students with interactive and content-rich experiences. AR also creates a dynamic learning environment that promotes active engagement and critical thinking.
The use of AR in education directly connects with the "Learning Designer" standard because educators design innovative learning experiences that embed AR applications and encourage creativity and collaboration among students.
In addition, this presentation emphasizes the "Digital Citizen Advocate" standard (4.7) by exploring the responsible use of AR and its implications for promoting a more inclusive environment that meets and respects the needs of all learners. Lastly, through the use of analyzing AR, this presentation showcases how AR data can be used to assess student progress and inform instructional decisions, enhancing personalized learning experiences. This applies to the "Data-Driven Decision Maker" (4.6) standard when it comes to aligning this instructional video to the ISTE-C standards.
