This course introduces students to the technical aspects of theatre production. Students will learn about safety in theatre spaces, how to perform basic scenic and costume construction tasks, how to operate lights and sound for theatre, and the basics of stage management.

This course builds on the technical skills of theatre production learned in Stagecraft 1. Students will learn about the design process for theatre and perform scenic, costume, lighting, sound, and stage management production tasks.

This class introduces students to acting performance skills and techniques. Students will learn foundational voice and movement skills to interpret and perform scripted and unscripted work. Topics of study include rehearsal etiquette, script analysis, theatre terminology, and specialized acting skills like pantomime, improvisation, mask work, and physical theatre.

Prerequisite(s): Acting 1 or Instructor Approval
This class builds on foundational acting performance skills and techniques. Students will learn additional voice and movement skills to interpret and perform scripted and unscripted work. Topics of study include rehearsal etiquette, script analysis, theatre terminology, and specialized acting skills like pantomime, improvisation, mask work, and physical theatre.
ACTING III – F533X

Prerequisite(s): Acting I and Acting II
This class builds on acting performance skills and techniques. Students will learn advanced voice and movement skills to interpret and perform scripted and unscripted work. Topics of study include rehearsal etiquette, script analysis, theatre terminology, and specialized acting skills like pantomime, improvisation, mask work, and physical theatre. Students in Acting III are expected to be leaders. This course can be repeated for credit.
