How to Choose Classes
Step 1:
READ instructions below for information on how to select your classes for next year
Step 2:
SELECT the clasess you want to take next year and COMPLETE your course selection worksheet (your advisory teacher has a paper copy). You will need 14 course requests and at least 5 alternates in order of preference.
Step 3:
SUBMIT your course request choices into StudentVue. Click the "Course Request" tab on the left.

What classes should I take as a Junior?
REQUIRED
You can choose between Lit and Comp 11 or AP Lang . You can also take ELA electives for fun!
If you haven't taken US History or APUSH, you must take it this year. If you have, you have lots of choices! You must fulfill the .5 Civics requirement by taking either Government, AP Government, or AP comparative Government. You must take one of these classes for Civics credit
Health 2 is required either your Junior or Senior year. If you did not complete PE 2 in 10th grade, you should take it now.
CHOICES
You have six elective classes to fill this year!
This is an elective course you may choose to take. It is not required for graduation, but most universities require at least two years for admission.
Keep in mind you need 3 years of social studies, math, and science to graduate!
