These are the high school credits required by most colleges and universities. Most colleges also require either the ACT or SAT for admission.
State law requires that districts and community schools administer the state-funded ACT or SAT to all students in grade 11 in the spring of the school year. Beavercreek City Schools have elected to administer the ACT Test free of charge to all 11th grade students during the spring of their junior year. The district processes all student registrations and high school faculty are responsible for proctoring the test. Parents and students should expect to receive communication regarding ACT testing throughout the school year. For information regarding the ACT test and test preparation please visit: https://www.act.org/content/act/en/students-and-parents.html
Fees
Many courses have a charge for lab fees and/or other materials. Most of these costs are listed near the course descriptions; however, there may be additional costs associated with some specific classes. There is a $15 Technology/Consumable fee for all students as well as a $30 graduation fee for seniors.
Course fees included in the Program of Studies are based on estimates. Fees are approved at the June School Board meeting.
