Career Based Intervention (CBI)

Year / 4 credits
In this co-op program, junior students learn successful work habits and attitudes. CBI work experience includes opportunities in a variety of jobs. Students must be accepted into this program.

In this cooperative learning program, senior students can strengthen their academic skills, develop professional competencies, and prepare for future success. This program/course has two components. In component one, students are introduced to the skills and concepts needed to be successful in the working world. In component two, students work part-time for pay. Students receive on-the-job training through supervised work experience. Students enrolled in this program/course will be excused from school after they have completed their in-school schedule. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from work. This is a Greene County Career Center program housed at Beavercreek High School. Students must apply, meet at least one of the program entry requirements and be accepted into this program

Marketing Education (GCCC)

This cooperative learning program has two components. Component one covers basic business organization for the distribution of goods and services, as well as foundations in marketing, management, finance, and entrepreneurship. In component two, students work part-time for pay. Students receive on-the-job training through supervised work experience. Students enrolled in this course will be excused from school after they have completed their in-school schedule. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from work. Upon completion of this program, students can receive a Tech Prep Scholarship from Sinclair Community College (2.25 minimum cumulative GPA required). This is a Greene County Career Center program housed at Beavercreek High School.
